I have found that using aerial maps of battlefields to be something of interest and use to me. But there’s also no reason why they can’t be fun. So I’m going to start an occasional series called “Where am I?” I’ll present an image, and you’ll have to tell me what it is.
Some will be easy … and some may not be.
First on the agenda …
Enjoy.

Looks like the Muleshoe at Spotsylvania.
FYI…clicking on the image opens it in a new window with the image’s name as the header, at least in my browser. So, you might want a more anonymous image naming scheme for the competition to be interesting.
It’s the Bloody Angle from the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse.
My guess would be Spotsylvania Courthouse. Looks like the mule shoe.
bloody angle at spotsylvania ?
Mule Shoe Salient, Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield.
Little Round Top?
I am making that guess from the semi-circle that appears to be elevated somewhat, with the flat ground beside it (and your reference in the previous posting to a wheat field…)
Happy holidays!
Spotsylvania is correct, confirmed by searching w/ Google Earth.
Cheater!
I must confess, I walk that part of the battlefield at least once a month.
