Much to my surprise, I’m going to be on television again … and again … courtesy of C-SPAN 3.
First, you can see me as a member of a panel on Mark Grimsley’s Hard Hand of War this weekend on American History TV on Saturday, November 3, @ 6PM & 10PM ET and then again at 11AM ET on Sunday, November 4. Watch as Mark says something nice about me.
Then you can see me speak on Ulysses S. Grant (surprise!) on Saturday, November 17 @ 6PM and 10PM ET, and and Sunday, November 18 @ 11AM ET.
Both of these appearances were part of Gettysburg College’s Civil War Institute last June, otherwise known as “find Al Mackey in the audience.”
That will make five appearances for the year. Wow. I’m keeping up with the Kardashians.
The nice part is that I’m far easier to spot than Waldo.
What is it with that Mackey guy? Does he ask a question even when C-Span is not in the house?
I have been known to do so.
I had a little back-and-forth with Gary Gallagher in 2011 during his presentation regarding my VT shirt.
