Well, folks, looks as if C-SPAN’s had a change of heart as to when it will broadcast my June 2012 talk on Ulysses S. Grant at Gettysburg College’s CWI. They tweeted me that such would be the case several weeks ago, but I’ve doublechecked the schedule, and nothing’s there.
Now I know how Ambrose Burnside felt when he was told that the pontoons would be late. That, too, was a Washington snafu.
