Very interesting …

  • Apparently Gary Adams isn’t the only plagiarist at the Southern Heritage Preservation Group, as we see when we compare this post to what appears here.  At least take out the “B” next time.
  • Speaking of plagiarist Adams, I find this statement amusing: “There is no shame in admitting to the truth as long as one stays faithful; to the cause.” Interesting condition.
  • Guess those SCV folks really don’t want to talk about fraud in their own organization.

Of course, highlighting these transgressions is getting as old as hearing that Lindsay Lohan was arrested again. Wait … she was?

Happy birthday to Mariano Rivera, as #42 turns 43.

  1. I loved Andy Hall’s conclusion to his article on Ron Wilson’s $39 million ponzi scheme:

“”Wilson plead guilty back in July, so barring some unexpected development, there will be no appeal. Wilson can look forward to to getting out of jail sometime in 2029 or thereabouts, when he will be around 82 years old. He’ll still owe restitution then, of course, so maybe he’ll get a greeter job at the Walmart Supercenter there in Easley. No doubt some of his very elderly former investors will be his co-workers there. I’m sure they’ll have lots to talk about.”

  2. Bummer also likes Andy’s final paragraph on Ron Wilson. Maybe Andy and Bummer can share the door as greeters at Walmart. Might be fun or…. maybe not.

    Bummer

  3. A great “save” made for acknowledging Mariano’s b-day – and a big thank you to the Yankees too for giving him (and us fans) such a great gift!
