Someone who is very interested in the subject of black Confederates has a birthday tomorrow, and I thought I’d offer this clip as a gift.
I especially was intrigued to hear the word “articulate” injected in one of the introductions. No one ever calls me that.

I can see why the audience loved Professor Smith. I found it amazing that he could be so articulate and yet not use highfalutin words that might have made his message harder to understand. Is it conspiratorial to wonder why I’ve not heard of this scholar previously?
