All the news that I see fit to print (and link to) …
- Looks like the Museum of the Confederacy’s Appomattox branch is a welcome economic stimulus to the surrounding community.
- One of the featured exhibits will be the sword Robert E. Lee wore to his meeting with Ulysses S. Grant on April 9, 1865. I wonder if he also wore the sword when the two men met April 10.
- Another report on the museum’s displays. There’s much to see.
- At the Washington Times it is unclear whether they want to report the news or offer an editorial.
It should be quite an event.
