Between a Yankees slump with a roster riddled with injuries, the Giants opening their defense of their Super Bowl championship, and the prospect that the only hockey that I’ll see this year will be when I play NHL 13, here we go …
- Black Confederates in Texas … sound familiar? It does to Kevin Levin. Apparently one out of every 3.6 slaves was in Confederate service, which would be important if true. The commentary about evidence (especially by citing a historical marker) raises all sorts of questions about the researcher and his training, none of which will matter to true believers.
- The General Lee will not be disfigured after all.
- The Evil Empire and the Philly Phanatic find a common interest.
Note that no one has highlighted how the Red Sox have fared ever since Kevin Levin moved to Massachusetts. It isn’t all Bobby Valentine’s fault.
