On Guiney Station and the Jackson Shrine: Names Mean Things

Y’all might want to head on over here and read (and maybe¬†participate¬†in) a rather engaging and insightful discussion about what to call the building in which Stonewall Jackson breathed his last.

I visited the Jackson Shrine once, and I came away very impressed with the place and how the NPS interpreted it. Given my interests, I had always seen it as somewhat out of the way, especially given the ways by which I usually approached the battlefields around Fredericksburg. I highly recommend that you take a look.
