I welcome this, and have made plans to attend with a couple of UDC sisters. it is good to present a rounded view of the WAR. There have already been a couple of gripes from the usual suspects.
I love that line, just as I refuse to sing the revised version of The Battle Hymn of the Republic that changed “As He died to make men holy, let us DIE to make men free” to “As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free.” To me, that fundamentally alters the meaning of the line.
Good post. Time to face reality.
Sorry, but I don’t have a clue.

I’d particularly expect a freak out over the choice of background music.
I’m with Bob but do agree with Margaret about the music although it sounds good to me!
I’m sure they have trouble with this line in particular:
“Down with the traitor, up with the star.”

I can think of an entire Facebook group that will be upset, which will include the person to whom I believe you’re referring.
I should have guessed. BTW, I joined that group a week or so ago. Some very interesting opinions there.
Mr. Nelson,be careful, you might be thrown off, just as I was. No matter, I can still read it.
