I know who will just love this announcement. And so do you.
Rob Walker will be making a documentary film of the flagpole’s construction, right? Will it look like a cattle prod? Topped with sun glasses to honor Tripp Lewis?
Now you, too, have an opportunity to give something back to the gift that keeps on giving. That’s because, compared to other auto dealership-size flags, the Virginia Flaggers’ efforts seem a tad modest. Come on, folks … think big … REALLY BIG!
Show that Confederate pride as only you can. And please surround the flagpole with video cameras that will show us “threats” to the flag suitable for You Tube posting.
I will contribute if they also have a big blowup balloon of that Super Reb guy with the eye mask and cape. He’s hot!
I wish a company of USCT reenactors could march around these things.
Then again, there are always party poopers:
This is a miniscule victory. The VA Flaggers have not and will not achieve anything note worthy beyond this as they are not inclined to become a political force to change anything political within the state of Virginia. Ask them if they believe in states rights, nullification, state interposition, and secession and they will immediately try to change the subject back to flagging in order to justify their existence and flagging actions. They are afraid to take any stand beyond that. They are nothing more than small potatoes. Evidence the VMFA. They have yet to realize that until a true southron is elected to the highest office in this state nothing will be done with regards to reinstate flying the confederate flags at the chapel next to the VMFA. One who will enforce the laws that require the Confederate flags be flown at the chapel as the chapel is a state historic site. The current carpetbagger in charge of the VMFA will not move to restore the flags period and Mr. Robert “Bob” McDonnell, our so called Governor and resident carpetbagger, will do nothing to force the re-reinstatement of the flags. As far as I am concerned the VA Flaggers are nothing but a speed bump to the progressives, multicultureists and state race pimps. Their actions are just a side note.
Oh, lucky me !! I’ll be passing that way in mid-October. Can’t wait.
Whatever happened to Rob Walker? Is he event alive?
He’s probably hard at work on projects for his 2013-14 Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Visual Arts Fellowship in Photography & Film.
Yea he sort of disappeared off the map after that Richmond vandalism incident.
As a voting resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia all I can say is sorry.
As for this “Ask them if they believe in states rights, nullification, state interposition, and secession…”
Well, all I can do is facepalm.
