    Thanks for the props. Mac Whatley offered further info in the comments, and Dave Bright, creator of the Confederate Railroads site, found an annual report from late 1865 indicating a bridge washout and the loss of a locomotive on the City Point RR. So there’s lots of leads to follow up on.
