An Amusing Curiosity and A Fascinating Oddity

… that’s the title I would have crafted for this piece.

This piece allows one to test the notion that all publicity is good publicity. For the Flaggers weren’t so happy.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon at the Confederate Memorial Chapel. Thirteen flaggers were present. There were numerous opportunities to talk with by-passers. Many driving past showed their support by honking and waving.

That’s how the Flaggers describe the event.

Judging from the pictures and the report, some of the “thirteen” Flaggers were disguised as fire hydrants, dead leaves, roadside curbs, or as an absent Susan Hathaway.

Nor were the Flaggers really happy with the publicity. I bet you never thought you would hear that sentence.
