I just love how people are so pleased with themselves when they bring up these Old Testament laws, being ignorant as they are of Biblical exegesis.

We have it on DVD and were recently looking for something to watch and started with season 1, episode 1. Very well done! And the “enemy” were not the Other Side, but rather ignorance and stupidity. This episode was one of the many “bests”! The truly sad part was how many of the issues when WW was on the air (1998-2006) are still there.

That was riveting. Must see TV indeed. Where are those kind of shows today?
He was a great actor before he got into writing. He was a nice guy too.
Last I heard he was on a bad drinking binge, this was from an old close friend of his.
Shame, he was brilliant, one of the Dr. Rothschild/Dr. Feig protégées.
Brooks, I am not sure if you knew who Eric Rothschild and Werner Feig were, but I can bet you dollars to donuts the seeds of brilliance that were the bases of West Wing were partially planted by them into Arron’s mind.

He forgot to point out the prohibition against wearing pearls.

IIRC, the POTUS had an excellent undergraduate education. 🙂

One of the best TV shows of all time. Most lists including the Writer’s Guild of America put it in the Top 10. Curiously, “TV Guide” doesn’t include it in its “Top 50.”
Well played. Very well played.
Great show, except for the last season.

Oh oh, he’s not quoting the New Testament.
