Quote of the Week: January 5-11, 2014

Connie Chastain sez: “We need to keep the ability to differentiate between a Phil Robertson and a Brooks Simpson.”

I didn’t think that was a problem.

BTW, Connie doesn’t know who Michael Hunt is … I thought she knew how to use a search engine. Same goes for BlogTalkRadio. Here’s the interview as it originally aired. Go to 16:35 and hear the original interview exchange. Here is one story about the “Redneck” day incident (which, oddly enough, several Confederate heritage apologists highlighted when the story was reported). This story discusses the link between the show and the incident mentioned in the story.

As Connie sez: “One of the problems with us Southern heritage folks is our propensity for going off half cocked — for getting our knickers in a knot at the drop of a hat.”

This would seem to be one of those cases. Surely we know a great deal more about her “research” skills.

I doubt this was a plot of the left-wing media (if you think the New York Post is left wing, you really aren’t very well informed).

Now Connie will get all upset and say I’m making fun of the level of her intelligence. I’m simply demonstrating it. Cackle away, Connie. Just remember … the rest of us aren’t laughing with you, but … you know the rest.

It’s very kind and generous of you to mentor this aspiring writer from Pensacola.

I think we need to differentiate the difference between Connie Chastain and the teachers from Charlie Brown. The difference of course is that the off-scene gibberish from the Charles Shultz cartoon is more intellectual.

What do you expect, it’s coming out of her back’s ass.

Susan, the first time I went on that site, I misread that as the name. Very funny.

Michael makes a good point – very kind of you to mentor this aspiring writer – unfortunately she’s not catching on too quickly. What in the world do you have to do with the Quacker? Where did this come from???

Ms. Chastain is very, very upset that her idol Phil Robertson expressed his displeasure about the Confederate flag. She has done all she could to discredit the report, but that’s not gone well. She wanted to remind her lemmings that there’s a difference between Phil Robertson and yours truly when it comes to such matters. That seems particularly important to her.

Connie just posted that she is working on an explanation of male superiority for the feminists. (Maybe superior to her, but that’s not saying much really.) Of course she is also working on some kind of Southern Bigfoot Thriller nonsense too. Looks to be another ‘Chastain best-seller’. Maybe she and Carl R. could write a ‘Hey Arnold – Abominable Snowman’ erotic movie. John Hall, Mike Lamb, David Tatum could all make a guest appearance along with ‘Grizzly’ Robertson and the Duke Boys. Yeehaaw!
