It’s a Great Day for a Parade!

Today lots of people bearing Confederate flags will parade down the streets of Lexington, Virginia, as part of that area’s celebration of Lee-Jackson Day (which was officially observed on Friday, I believe).

But there will be something missing … Matthew Fontaine Maury.

See, it used to be Lee-Jackson-Maury Day (and in some corners it still is).

Return Maury to his rightful place and restore his honor!

… and no, we won’t extend that demand to Dabney Maury. 🙂

In the meantime, prepare for all sorts of pictures. It’s sure to be another great day for changing hearts and minds.
