Sometimes the written word is not enough to tell a story.
You know what happens next.
And that led to this:
And this:
By the way, we’ve heard nothing about Tripp Lewis’s threatened lawsuit. You would think that the people contributing money to his “defense fund” might want to know the purposes to which their funds have been put. …
… like maybe sunglasses.
I feel very empathetic for this child, but I think this highlights the silliness of this group very well. They are nothing more than costume commandos.
It seems that the confrontation was as a result of a persons inability to use a modest amount of reason. The episode could have been avoided if it were not for the sense of entitlement.
I hear that the alternate spelling of Tripp is “T-O-O-L”.
No kidding! The phrase “rebels without a cause” leaps unbidden to mind.
First of all, I think the police did a fine job there acting professionally and well within the legal constraints of their authority. Second, I think Tripp Lewis was showing what a lousy parent he was by taking his 11 year old daughter to that location when he clearly was seeking to provoke a confrontation. Third, where is the mother of this child? If she and this fool are divorced or separated then she has some very good legal grounds for gaining custody of the young girl.
As for Tripp Lewis, if that’s what the flaggers represent, then they’re a waste of time.
They got a legal defense fund, flagpole fund, mountain dew and red sweater fund.
Flaggers make clear that they are not 501c3 in their repeated pleas for cheeseburger money. Is that taxable as income? Are they filing taxes? Can you pay your tax bill in Greybacks? Worth looking into?
Apparently they need a “Honey Bucket” fund, too.
From Carl Roden: “Just remember they arrested Rosa Parks too.”
Apparently this post has a new life.
