    These are hilarious. It’s nice to have a little levity now and then. Loved the ones on Lewis and Clark, Al Capone and the invention of Coca Cola.

    Spielberg really missed an opportunity by not casting Patton Oswalt as Charles Sumner.

    I spend my winters in Brooksville, Florida (HernandoCounty). The original name of the town was changed to Brooksville to honor Preston Brooks after the caning of Sumner. The place is crawling with “yankees” during the winter and I doubt if many people, locals or snowbirds, know or care about the origin of the name.
