I was saddened by the percentages contained in the Pew study. Since this study was done at the beginning of the 150th anniversary , I certainly hope that Pew is planning or conducting a similar study now that the anniversary events are coming to a close. The comparision between the numbers would be interesting.
This is awesome! Goad, we are very proud of you !! ❤
Even though there is a video starring Karen Cooper, there has been no reference to it from the Virginia Flaggers. Connie (not a member but she posts on their behalf and does photo-ops with them) issued a response but never said whom it was a response towards. I wonder why they would want to sweep this video series under the rug?
I am sure that if it was Susan Hathaway, there would be all sorts of posts. So it is an interesting question.
I know john Currence. We are very proud of him in our little town.
Wow, just wow, on Leo Twiggs. What hauntingly beautiful images he has created. He has actually transformed the Confederate flag into a piece of usable history via his art. Maybe the flag does have a purpose outside of a museum after all.
