George Zimmerman, Flagger?

You may recall George Zimmerman as the person who shot and killed Trayvon Martin several years ago, claiming that he was standing his ground and all that. Zimmerman was acquitted of murder … and then he started getting into trouble fairly often.

Now he’s found a new way to cash in on his fame (or infamy) … by painting Confederate flags with a message:

Not exactly celebrating the service and sacrifice of Confederate soldiers, is it?

No word on when various flagging groups will welcome Zimmerman as a fellow flaggers.

Its interesting to note that his U.S. flag painting apparently sold for a lot more than his CBF one. Might tell him something?

If you consider Dylan Root a flagger, and really, why not, Zimmerman has already been embraced. Root began his descent to murder because of Zimmerman killing Martin, and being forced to go to trial for it.

He’s been in some trouble, but to be fair … that last incident was a stalker. Strangely enough, it happened about 2 miles down the road from our new office.

    2nd and 1st Amendment on a C.S. flag?

Considering the C.S. executed black Union soldiers for having guns and killed people for expressing abolitionist and Unionist sentiments, not to mention the C.S. considered themselves a separate nation no longer bound by the U.S. Constitution, the association with it is a bit dubious.
