Today the screecher from Pensacola declares the following:
Apparently Chastain struggles to use a calendar well. She says she posted her observation on September 26. What appeared here the next day?
Why, a post on Confederate heritage. 🙂 Fun-hun-hun-nee!
Note that Chastain’s last post prior to today came on September 28. In short, when I post about history, she’s left empty-handed (or is that empty-headed?).
I guess she wanted me to talk about the Virginia Flaggers raising yet another flag. Zzzzz.
We await the usual outburst of outrage from the Kim Davis of Confederate heritage. Meanwhile, back to more interesting things.
You have to wonder if anyone in the actual SCV or UDC ever realizes the damage people like Chastain do for their actual cause? Sure she is great for the ‘dumb Bubba’ folks, but the people they need are a much broader audience with much more sense and power. It is so sad that people like the flaggers are the mouthpiece for long dead soldiers.
Civil War history. Now that’s a subject Connie could use a little learning on. The depth of her understanding on the late Rebellion is akin to that of the National Enquirer reporter who wrote a story in today’s edition with a headline proclaiming Ben Carson is a bad surgeon. Their proof? He had five malpractice suits filed against him during his career. They quote horrendous accusations from the plaintiffs briefs in these cases. This is akin to the kind of junk the heritage folks dig up all the time with historical quotes out of context and often from dubious sources. For the record, Dr. Carson has 30+ honorary doctorates from the world’s most prestigious institutions and is widely considered one of the best surgeons in the history of our nation.
It seems like Ms. Chastain is itching for a fight. She must have been studying up on history, maybe a book about that great southern general George H. Thomas.
Her first love, I think, is the first president of LSU. A man who loved the South, but hated traitors and rebellion.
Its funny that she never mentions how generous Bill Sherman was at the surrender of Johnstons’ Army.
He’s known affectionately as Cump around these parts in his native Southeastern Ohio! 😉
Connie has to turn and attack you because she cannot defend the League of the South 24/7 and she has a hard time explaining away all the negative press she and the Virginia Flaggers get over at Restoring the Honor blog.
Typical of Chastain’s tendency to engage in needless lying that reveals her base hypocrisy is her claim that the image in question came from Twitter or this blog, when in fact it was taken from my Facebook page. Given her own complaints about people using material gleaned from Facebook, she could not tell the truth (she’s used the image before). Like other Flaggers, she depends on Photoshop to manage her sense of reality.
She is a bitter ol’ gal. If you didn’t post she would have little to post about. She rants about your posts, when in truth most of hers are just responses to yours. How original is that?
Her obsession with me is a matter of record. So is my amusement with her. But she is the best the Virginia Flaggers can do. How sad is that?
Living rent free in Connie’s head is like squatting in a condemned building…we should at least throw a kegger or a rave…
