I found this video of Indiana governor Mike Pence’s visit to Gettysburg earlier this month to be an interesting overview of what Indiana regiments did at the battle … and John Hoptak did the NPS proud, as could be expected.

Crossroads 
Being 10 during the Centennial, the Civil War has stayed with me. I’ve viewed both The Civil War and Gettysburg numerous times. I have a number of better volumes about the battle both before and after. Visited the site on our honeymoon. This is good stuff. Politics beside the point.
