Well, he certainly sets out his position quite clearly, and in one instance, sardonically defends himself. I didn’t know he had that kind of humor in him.
That said, I think he ignores the larger point…that there are some bloggers who consistently provide good stuff, and as such could be seen as decent resources. By missing them, he may miss that rare opportunity to have his point of view shifted. I am not talking of an earthquake shift, but one facet of a piece of history that suddenly makes you realize that perhaps you need to reassess.
Jeff, if you take another look a bit closer you’ll see he allows for bloggers who consistently post excellent content.
