Far too many whites believe that the only racism that exists today is reverse racism, of which whites are now the victims. Far too many whites appear to know nothing of the period between the end of the Civil War and the beginnings of the Civil Rights Movement. Lynching, for example, is believed to have been perpetrated only by Klan members.
